Hugh Johnson’s World of Fine Wine

The British are enchanted with Washington State Wines (and for good reason, we might add!)  Cadence is once again featured (Issue 27), this time in an article on The Promised State.   David Williams provides a nice overview and history of the extraordinary rise of winemaking in the state. Read the full article here.

Cadence is flattered to be the subject of a six page feature article in the fall of 2009 (Issue 25). Wine writer Bruce Schoenfeld brings fine writing and a thoughtful perspective on our pursuit of a vision singular in Washington State to craft wines that focus on terroir, “intensity without weight”, and a balance of the fine line that allows the wines both to drink well immediately and to strengthen their personality with age. Read the article here.

Watch a terrific piece by Denise Whitaker on KOMO about our wonderful volunteers!

And another great piece by Josephine Cheng on KING-5 Evening Magazine that also features our SSAW cohort, Tim Sorenson of Fall Line Winery.
